Asia CrossFit Championships Postponed due to Coronavirus Concerns

The Asia CrossFit Championships, a 4-day CrossFit sanctional held in Shanghai have released a statement through Instagram that they have been forced to postpone the event until July 3rd to 5th 2020.

The Coronavirus has devasted operations in China and has now caused the reschedule of this CrossFit sanctional for safety concerns.

The Asia CrossFit Championships had this to say:

Dear ACC Athletes,
We regret to inform you that ACC scheduled for May 8th to 10th, 2020 will be postponed due to the outbreak situation.
We sincerely apologize for any inconveniences caused; To provide sufficient time for your travel plans, the new date will be July 3rd to 5th, 2020.
Shanghai has been in all-out efforts in prevention and steadily keeping the city safer.
We appreciate your kind understanding and thank you for your support!
SEE YOU IN SHANGHAI!

In 2019, Kristin Holte and Brent Fikowski topped the leaderboard with a well-run and interesting competition which we are sure will be back with a bang in July this year.

Our best wishes to all those affected by the Coronavirus outbreak and we implore everyone to stay safe.
